Wybers Wood Boys U11 went to the local schools tournament at Wintgrimham!

Wybers started the tournament off in great fashion beating Enfield 3-0, with a phenomenal goal from Alfie, who was playing two years up. Charlie also managed to get on the score sheet with a powerful shot and Wybers added a third through a powerful cross being turned in by a defender before Freddie could get on the end of it. Some great saves from Leyton and resolute defending from Myles and Jack.

Wybers headed into the second game full of confidence, Jack managed to lob the keeper from outside the area. Before, Flynn scored a cross come shot from wide on the right. Bo managed to walk round the keep with ice cold composure to add a third. Lucas and Jack H carried on with some incredible defending at the back with Wybers only conceding one goal (an amazing overhead kick) to win the game 3-1.

For Wybers third game they took on Springfield. Wybers pounded shot after shot at the goalkeeper but were unable to break down the door with the game ending 0-0.

In the last game of their group Wybers played Reynolds with Alfie scoring a late goal to secure a 1-0 win.

Due to their amazing performances Wybers came top of their group on goal differences and managed to qualify for the county championships in Hull equalling the girls teams accomplishments!

Wybers played Cloverfields, who won the other group, in the final. With some insane defending from both teams, the match ended 0-0 with both teams sharing the spoils!
